July 2010 – Get Auto Appraise 2.0

Aculocity rolled out Get Auto Appraise 2.0 to dealers during July 2010. Enhancements to the popular lead generator app include the ability to upload trade-in vehicle images, view real-time matching inventory and manufacturer rebates and incentives. The dealer back-office updates include improved dealer administrator functionality, enhanced reporting and fresh look & feel.

July 2010 – Mobile app achieves over 1 million downloads

Virtual Vuvuzela, created for Android and iPhone by Aculocity, has achieved over 1 million downloads in its first thirty days. Mimicking the popular stadium horn celebration noise heard at World Cup, the app has achieved worldwide acclaim and a top 10 download position in over 15 countries.

June 2010 – Virtual Vuvuzela.com deployed by Aculocity

The vuvuzela stadium horn often heard during soccer games in South Africa is now available to World Cup fans with the release of Virtual Vuvuzela for the iPhone, Android, and Facebook platforms. January 2010 – Aculocity presents Appliance Rebate.com

A brand marketing SaaS solution developed by Aculocity for Appliance Rebate has deployed onto major manufacturers and retailers websites to provide visitors with easy access to available rebates. The solution integrates multiple data feeds to link together a user’s zip code with the applicable rebates and eligible appliances. The system also provides a comprehensive appliance feature set and comparison pricing information. Aculocity’s President Vadim Kozyrkov added, “By providing Appliance Rebate.com with a comprehensive support system for designing, developing, and deploying the solution, Aculocity was able to significantly reduce the time between origination and delivery.”

July 2009 – Aculocity celebrates 5 years of IT Staff augmentation services.

This month Aculocity celebrates its five-year anniversary as the IT Staff augmentation service provider for a $300 million Midwest manufacturer. IT Staff Augmentation helps the manufacturer control costs by staffing their IT department to 75% of demand then having Aculocity’s team of project managers, architects, and programmers provide technology services as needed. Aculocity’s President Vadim Kozyrkov added, “Over this time Aculocity has had on average more than twenty IT resources deployed to their manufacturing plant, allowing them to cuts costs by eliminating the idle time often present in internal IT departments.”

May 2009 – Auto appraisal web tool delivered to European partner.

A custom software solution developed by Aculocity has been deployed in Europe to help vehicle owners appraise the value of their vehicles online. Aculocity built the software for Europe’s leading automotive data solution provider, EurotaxGlass, who delivers the solution to European manufacturers and dealers alike. Custom built with Microsoft ASP.NET, the solution utilizes SQL Server and AJAX for an interactive user experience. Project Manager Cornelius Kemp added “Combining cutting-edge Microsoft technologies with Aculocity’s automotive industry expertise ensured rapid application development and deployment.

April 2009 – Software built for South African government medical project.

Aculocity completed the first phase of a South African government project to build electronic kiosks for tracking the treatment schedules of TB and HIV patients. Aculocity developers utilized cutting-edge programming technology to drastically simplify the interface for patients. “Programming choices like eliminating the mouse and implementing fingerprint recognition make for a great kiosk experience” said Vadim Kozyrkov, Aculocity’s President. Aculocity is scheduled to begin the next phase of the government project in late 2009.

March 2009 – Complete manufacturing systems upgrade for large truck builder.

Aculocity successfully capped weeks of preparation by conducting a comprehensive manufacturing systems upgrade for Autocar, an Indiana-based severe service trucks builder. Focusing on the promotion of their product configurator and QAD installation, Aculocity transitioned the truck manufacturer to the latest generation of sales and ERP software. Autocar’s President Jim Johnston said, “The innovative services and support that Aculocity offers allowed us to adopt cutting-edge manufacturing system improvements without sacrificing a moment of production time.”

January 2009 – Aculocity workshop at Warranty Chain Management Conference March 10th - 12th

Dr. Vadim Kozyrkov of Aculocity has been chosen to lecture at the 5th Annual WCM Conference March 10th – 12th in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Kozyrkov will address the emergence of analytics in warranty management and improved measurements of warranty performance.
The audience will learn how to gain ‘warranty insight’ by using analytics and how to not just access warranty data but act on it.

October 2008 - Aculocity authors editorial for Warranty Week newsletter

The October 16th edition of Warranty Week newsletter features an editorial written by Aculocity president Dr. Vadim Kozyrkov. The article discusses warranty management best practices and the Aculocity approach to analyzing warranty. Dr. Vadim highlights important differences between warranty analytics and standard business statistics, and also goes on to mention that “warranty is too often treated as merely a cost that must be reduced, without heeding its link to quality, price, and ultimately profits.”
