Description

The QAD Systems Analyst’s role is to ensure that the ERP application is performing according to the business requirements. To meet this goal the Systems Analyst will stay up to date with the latest functionality available in the application through research, training and user group conferences. He or she will continuously evaluate new business requirements against functionality available and make recommendations on the best way to accomplish this and follow through by implementing the desired functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support existing MFG/Pro application software
  • Responsible for managing MFG/Pro work requests
  • Resolve MFG/Pro Help Desk issues
  • Advise on Business Process and implementation issues to support necessary changes.
  • Support MFG/Pro system upgrades and new module implementations.
  • Develop / maintain customized programs based on user requirements.
  • Create and maintain interfaces to other systems

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 year Progress programming experience and 3 years of analytical experience in an MFG/Pro environment within a manufacturing organization.
  • In-depth working knowledge of the MFG/Pro ERP application.
  • Familiar with MFG/Pro version eB2.1 and Domains, MFG/Pro programming / customization standards and database structure
  • Linux and Desktop experience would be a plus
  • Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related degree
  • Self-starter
  • Good analytical skills
  • Quick learner who requires minimum supervision and possesses good problem solving skills.
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
