Description

The QAD Analyst Programmer’s role is to ensure that the QAD application is maintained according to the business requirements. To meet this goal the Analyst Programmer will stay up to date with the latest technology available in the application through research, training and user group conferences. He or she will continuously action new business requirements using technologies available to implement the desired functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support existing MFG/Pro application software
  • Responsible for managing MFG/Pro work requests.
  • Resolve MFG/Pro Help Desk issues.
  • Support MFG/Pro system upgrades and new module implementations.
  • Develop / maintain customised programs based on user requirements.
  • Create and maintain interfaces to other systems

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year Progress programming experience in an MFG/Pro environment within a manufacturing organisation.
  • In-depth working knowledge of the MFG/Pro ERP application.
  • Familiar with MFG/Pro version eB2 and Domains. MFG/Pro programming & customisation standards and database structure.
  • Linux and .NET experience would be a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related degree.
  • Self-starter
  • Good analytical skills
  • Quick learner who requires minimum supervision and possesses good problem solving skills.
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Continuous drive improvements.
