Description

The System/Network Administrator will be part of a team supporting over 300 users in a technologically mixed, dynamic and demanding operating environment. System infrastructure primarily consists of Windows and Linux operating systems, with emphasis on Hewlett-Packard and mostly CISCO manufactured network hardware. Team member’s area of responsibility will include but is not limited to day to day end users, systems and network support tasks and new technologies and projects research. 5% to 10% of travel may be required.

Required

  • Microsoft certifications (MCP or MCSE/MCSA)
  • Cisco Certifications (CCNA)
  • CISCO hardware hands-on experience
  • At least 4 years of proven system/network administration experience in a Windows based environment
  • Knowledge of Network protocols, basic architecture principles and hardware.
  • Experience in backup systems (H/W & S/W)
  • Basic knowledge in SAN hardware and management tools
  • Extensive understanding of Windows Server/WS OS
  • Messaging Systems knowledge (Microsoft Exchange)
  • Hands-on hardware experience including communication equipment
  • System analytical skills
  • Self-motivated quick learner
  • Team oriented approach
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • User oriented POSITIVE attitude
